Rick is the President and owner of Gittings Portrait Studios in Dallas and Fort Worth, and has called Gittings home for over twenty five years. Rick is a second-generation professional photographer who learned his craft at an early age in his father’s studio in Denver, Colorado. Rick holds a Master of Photography degree with the Professional Photographers Association of America. Rick has photographed many prominent individuals, including President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush, Vice President Al Gore, Clint Black, Gary Collins, Wynonna Judd, Dick Clark, George Foreman, Emmitt Smith, Ross Perot, Sr., as well as many notable families in North Texas.
Rick has been commissioned to create portraits for clients across the United States, Europe and Asia. He has received numerous awards for his portraits, including Best Overall Portrait by Southwestern Professional Photographers. Rick was also honored to have his images selected by PPA as the cover of their national magazine and Kodak for use in a national marketing campaign.
Rob Wythe earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Texas in Austin. He began his career as a photojournalist, expanding his areas of expertise to include commercial and fashion photography before joining Gittings in 2003. Rob is an award winning member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Press Photographers Association. Some of Rob’s most notable clients include President George W. Bush, The Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice of The Supreme Court of the United States, Newt Gingrich, James Brown, Neil Diamond, U2, Will Smith, Milla Jovovich and Elisha Cuthbert.
Rob has the rare talent of making even the shyest of children, not to mention adults, relax and open up, allowing him to capture their true personality.
Gittings has been a large part of Angela’s life for over 25 years. In 2014, She left a career in education to join the Gittings Dallas team. An Alumni of the University of Arizona with a degree in communications, she brings a wealth of experience in customer service and building relationships. Angela has a gift for using portraits in design that comes from growing up with an interior designer.
A newcomer to Gittings, Kelsee brings a unique perspective to the companies marketing strategies. An alumni of Abilene Christian University with a degree in Marketing, Kelsee has a diverse background in marketing, finance and non profits. She handles charitable requests, directs the North Texas social marketing and oversees many of the projects with non profits.
Maggie is a native Texan who attended the University of Texas at Austin and has a diverse background in marketing and sales across many industries. In 2014, Maggie joined the Gittings family as head of Sales and Marketing for the Fort Worth studio. Maggie constantly gives back and is active with the Junior League of Fort Worth, the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center and other local charities.
Ryan joined Gittings in 2016 after operating his own wedding photography business. Ryan adopted a fondness for art and technology at an early age and was captivated by the idea that a handheld device that could freeze a moment in time . A real interest in photography began when he developed his first dark-room photograph in high-school and today he is an award winning member of the Professional Photographers of America.
Outside of portrait photography, Ryan also enjoys capturing landscapes, architecture and the cosmos above.
Kenn Stolte grew up in St. Louis and while in school, he had part-time jobs in a specialty men’s clothing store and with a significant St. Louis photographer. He became an active participant in The Professional Photographers Association of Greater St. Louis which brought many introductions to important photographers throughout the country, one being the revered Paul Linwood Gittings. After a short St. Louis business career, he accepted the invitation of Mr. Gittings to come to Texas and practice photographic portraiture, Gittings style. He has been a part of Gittings for over 50 years and having been trained by Mr. Gittings himself, Kenn drives the vision and lasting legacy of what made the Gittings style of photography so famous.
Andy was born and raised in in Iowa and developed his famous Midwest attributes of integrity and sociability, so fitting for his long time position in Gittings’ client relations. His familiarity with Houston came from his grandparents’ trips to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to stay abreast of agricultural developments, and his appreciation of clients stems from his father’s entrepreneurial spirit in the construction industry. Shortly after moving to Houston in 1996, he joined Gittings and is responsible for staying engaged with the pulse of Houston’s wonderful social life and continually exposing the Gittings’ style and expertise to the community. He also is your partner in arranging portrait appointments, assisting with portrait selections and with portrait installations.
Brad grew up in Toledo, OH and at the young age of 8, tried his hand with a Kodak Brownie Camera and his love for photography hasn’t wavered since. As he grew, he further developed his skill in high school as the yearbook and newspaper photographer and after attending Cedarville University, received a degree in Professional Photography with Honors from Elkins Institute in Dallas. He then went on to receive a Master’s of Photography from PPA. In 1985, he began his career at Gittings in the Dallas studio, becoming the lead photographer and then was transferred to the Houston location in 1989. Brad is a well known in the industry for his excellence in customer service and talent.
Jason started work with Gittings as a digital technologist, handling very detailed digital retouching and printed glossies projects. Jason began to build his portfolio to include executive portraits, environmental photography, as well as working directly with clients during the development of large-scale portrait projects. Jason prides himself on delivering consistent quality, and enjoys traveling while working on global projects for our executive clients.
Outside of portrait photography, Jason enjoys travel photography.
Kelley is the Operations Assistant at Gittings. She handles everything from answering phones and coordinating our photographer’s schedules to delivering final images, and sending invoices and receiving payments. She also helps maintain our client database and accommodates client requests.
She is particularly focused on ensuring that our clients consistently receive the professional service our agency is known for.
Kelley spends her time outside of work teaching her two boys and daughter to rely on their faith and to always act with integrity – do the right thing even when nobody’s watching.
Greg is the CEO and owner of the Gittings Trade Name and Service Mark. Greg is Creative and Operations Director of GittingsLegal – a Gittings businesses focused on serving the legal industry globally, with more than 85 photographers worldwide. He also oversees operations of all studios to ensure the portrait services we’ve provided for 90 years remain world class.
